Long time no see.  Well I'm going to remedy that.  I have been working on crafts and I started back to the pool.  I also having to go to therpy for my back and neck.  But I'm still hanging in there.

I'm selling my crafts on facebook now and I went back into the shop up in Williamsburg, Va.  I  just can't get away from doing these crafts, actually I love creating things.  You know something when you think about creating things, I think about God and how he felt when he was creating this great wonderful world of ours.  He must have been so delighted with Himself and He was  because it says so in the Bible.  When I look around at this wonderful creation, I'm so thankful for God for giving us such a wonderful place to live, I know some people do not have it as good as America, but sometimes we can find beauty in anything or anywhere.  I challenge you to look for the beauty in our creation but most of all in what God is doing in your life.  He can change anybody, and give you a new inward look at everything around you if you will just trust Him and believe in His son Jesus Christ.

Come on over and take a look at my crafts I'm selling on facebook, also, if there are any shop owners looking for a great place to wholesale handmade in America Crafts there is a wholesale group I belong to where there are the greatest crafters/  Just email me and I will give you the information.

Here wishing you a great and wonderful bless day.

Wednesday is Here!

It is written; IF I SAY, 'I WILL FORGET MY

COMPLAINT, I WILL CHANGE MY EXPRESSION,
AND SMILE.' ( JOB 9:27 * NIV )

Dear  Friend,
We all have days when we feel overwhelmed
with life's many problems. However complaining about
then doesn't change a thing!

So why not smile instead of complain, for it is said; "Smile
and the whole World smiles with you, frown and you frown
alone!"

Now what better way to find a smile than to laugh with
joy. So enjoy today's message, and let it be said; OUR
MOUTHS WERE FILLED WITH LAUGHTER, OUR
TONGUES WITH SONGS OF JOY. For; THE LORD
HAS DONE GREAT THINGS FOR US, AND WE
ARE FILLED WITH JOY. ( PSALM 126:2-3 )

Therefore, today's message is one that was
sent to us by one of our Dear Subscribers. It will not only
cause a laugh or two, it may try your Bible knowledge a
little as well! It is titled:

"Smiles From The Bible"

Q: What kind of man was Boaz before he married?
A: Ruthless

Q: What do they call Pastor's in Germany?
A: German Shepherd's.

Q: Who was the greatest financier in the Bible?
A: Noah. He was floating his stock while everyone else was
in liquidation.

Q: What was the greatest female financier in the Bible?
A: Pharaoh's daughter. She went to the bank of the Nile
and drew out a little Prophet.

Q: What kind of motor vehicles are in the Bible?
A: Jehovah drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Fury.

David's Triumph was heard throughout the land. Also,
probably a Honda, because the apostles were all in
one Accord.
Q: Who was the greatest comedian in the Bible?
A: Samson. He brought the house down.

Q: Which servant of God was the most flagrant lawbreaker in
the Bible?
A: Moses. He broke all 10 commandments at once.

Q: Which area of Palestine was especially wealthy?
A: The area around Jordan. The banks were always
overflowing.

Q: Who is the greatest babysitter mentioned in the Bible?
A: David. He rocked Goliath to a very deep sleep.

Q: Which Bible character had no parents?
A: Joshua, son of Nun.

Now who knew the Bible was so full of puns and jokes?
I hope you have enjoyed!

Enjoy your  day and have a chuckle, and do not forget  God
wants us to enjoy our life but most of all He wants us to enjoy His
nearnes of Him.  God Bless and have a great day.

Good Morning All

Good Morning, sure hope you had a great Monday, I did, I worked on my craft room.  My goal was too stay on my new eating plan and I did that, but I did not get on the stationary bike, but I did do fairly well on the eating plan. And I didn't sit in that chair all day.   So that was  good.

So today, is Tuesday, what can I write about that would interest my readers.  Well, remember I told you that I just loved spring and the first flower that usually came out was a daffodil, well guess what on Sunday on  my way home from church, I saw a daffodil out and looking beautiful, but we had a forecast for snow on Sunday, I checked and its still peeking out.

And then on Monday my doggie wanted to go out and I looked out on my deck and you will not believe I saw a beautiful red cardinal setting on my gas stove.  I hurried and got my camera, but he was gone but I couldn't get the picture, but it was another great sign for Spring.  Also I heard on the news that we were going to have high sixties this week, so its getting nearer and nearer.  Now the real rainy season comes in.  Oh well, at least I know it want be long.  Isn't it amazing that we can count on God for we know that in His timing everything will happen.  God is great.   Sure hope you have a great day.  God Bless

Monday Morning's Blessings

Hi there, well today is  Monday and I went to church yesterday, so that was one of my goals.  That was the beginning of a good week.  I look forward to see what this week will bring.  Now my next goal is to ride my bike for 5 minutes each day.  Please pray for me as I work towards my goals.  \

I just love the picture I have for today, because each day is a new day.  Its like a new start up for life each day that comes.  We can decide to do what we want.  God wants us to do for Him and gloryfy Him.  I know I fail to do this so many times, but just remember He gives us another chance tomorrow.  Try not to worry about tomorrow lets just take one step at a time today.   Remember we have a God who gives new chances everyday.  Sure hope you have a great day.

There is a chance of snow here, I sure hope they are wrong.  I'm so ready for Spring its unreal.  I can't wait to see the new green leaves popping our and the spring flowers.  So I sure hope they are wrong but if not maybe the next day will be sunny and bright with warmth.  I think we all get itchy for Spring right about now.

Have you ever thought about the bears and how they hibranate in the winter then come out when the spring weather starts.  Well I think God lets us have these winters so that we can rest, and lets the land   rest for the spring planting so that we will be rejunated come Spring.  I still don't like the real cold weather because sometimes it seems forever, but I have thought about this many times.  I complain about this but I know God has His reason for the seasons and I just need to learn to enjoy the time with my family and my Savior.

Well, have a blessed day.  Remember God loves you.

Good Saturday morning, I hope everyone has great plans for the weekend.  People who work I know look forward to the weekend and being with their love ones.  Me, I'm always looking for something to do or just sit again and stuff my face.   It use to be so nice when my kids where home for the weekend because we were all together, but now the two girls are living away and I only see them a couple times of the year.  So what do I do with myself, the same thing I did Monday through Friday, just sit and think and stuff my face.  So need to start planning for something new on weekends.  Its so hard to change yourself or making yourself even want to change.  What to look forward too.  I made up my mind that I'm going to start going to chuch on Sundays.  I have fallen on that and its not good.  So lets start with that one accomplishment this week and ride my stationary bike for 5 minutes each day.  Will let you know how I progress.  My daughter who is a nurse says that is how you need to get started, ist to focus on one thing or 2 small things and try to accomplish that for the week.  So that's my goal.   Have a great day.  Remember God loves you.

Starting Weigh-In-Friday

Well, its me again.  I just wanted to let you know that I've started back trying to loose some weight.  I have gained some of what I lost back. So, its like starting all over again.  So please come and join me on another journey of trying  to loose weight again.  Its very depressing, I feel horrible, don't won't to move and my back is hurting and my neck is bothering me again.  I haven't exercised or anything in months.  Its a chore to even walk, so I really need to get back on track.  I have to admit I felt so much better when I was water walking and cutting those calories.  So lets hope I get farther than I did before.  Please come and join me.

Hi from Gate Street

Well, its Friday and another week has gone by and guess what! spring is just around the corner.  We have had a fairly nice winter, just lots of rain, which I hate, but I know its something we need, for when Summer comes we go for weeks without it.  But its still very depressing sometimes.  We did have a few snow furries which was just enough to make me want more so I could make snowcream, but not this time.

I have been working on trying to get my old paint room ready so I can start sewing again.  Its going to be a few more days before we get it done.  I will show some before pictures and after.  I have painted on wood for the last 20 years and not really sewn very much.  I use to make ruffle curtains, potty sets, pillows, you name it and I put a ruffle on it.  Then I started painting and I haven't sewn very much in the a long time.  But I'm going to try to get back into it.  It seems like people really likes dolls, pillows and sewing items now more than painting unless its really detailed.  So we will see how it comes about and even if I really want to do that again.  At least my room will be cleaned and fixed a little.

Well, I sure hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day and told that certain someone how much you love and appreciate them.  Just remember March is next and that means Spring is just around the corner, we will start seeing those daffodils soon.  I just love that flower.  Its so bright and cheerful.  Well here's hoping you have a Blessed Day.  God Bless

Good Morning, Here's a little Chuckle For You

As our Heavenly Father said there will be;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a
time to mourn, and a time to dance.
( Ecclesiastes 3:4 *NKJV )

Dear  Friend,
Well you are in luck for today is a time to laugh! So sit back and
enjoy the following message from one of our Sister's In Christ. Soon
you will be saying; Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy. And just as Sarah,
Abraham's wife, said when God told her she would have a child at
her advanced age. You will be saying; God has made me
laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me.
( Psalm 126:2 ) & ( Genesis 21:6 )

Pecans in the Cemetery

On the outskirts of a small town, there was a big, old pecan tree
just inside the cemetery fence. One day, two boys filled up a
bucketful of nuts and sat down by the tree, out of sight, and began
dividing the nuts. "One for you, one for me. One for you, one for
me," said one boy. Several dropped and rolled down toward the
fence.

Another boy came riding along the road on his bicycle. As he
passed, he thought he heard voices from inside the cemetery. He
slowed down to investigate. Sure enough, he heard, "One for you,
one for me. One for you, one for me." He just knew what it was,
so he jumped back on his bike and rode off.

Now just around the bend he met an old man with a cane,
hobbling along. "Come here quick," said the boy, "you won't believe
what I heard! Satan and the Lord are down at the cemetery dividing
up the souls."

The man said, "Beat it kid, can't you see it's hard for me to
walk." When the boy insisted though, the man hobbled to the
cemetery. Standing by the fence they heard, "One for you, one for
me. One for you, one for me..." The old man whispered, "Boy,
you've been tellin' the truth. Let's see if we can see the Lord."
Shaking with fear, they peered through the fence yet were still
unable to see anything.

The old man and the boy gripped the wrought iron bars of the
fence tighter and tighter as they tried to get a glimpse of the Lord.
At last they heard, "One for you, one for me. That's all. Now let's
go get those nuts by the fence and we'll be done."

They say the old man made it back to town a full 5 minutes
ahead of the boy on the bike!

Wanted to Share What I Enjoyed Today.

Well, I 'm just wanted to share with my fellow blogger friends what I've had   a treat today.  Don't know whether you like oysters or not but I do.  We haven't had them in a long time.  Many years ago, we used to have a fire pit with a grill over it and we would put the oysters  on there and steam them.  We had not done that in many years, needless to say the fire pit is gone because we build a shed where it was.

So we had talked to a friend to try to get some oysters when my daughter was here in December but never could get them, but guess what we got them today.  And we had a feast just me, Walter and Choie.  This time we just used our grill and put them on  there, made a cocktail sauce and just sit on the deck and had oysters, and crackers.  Hubby finished opening them after they were steamed a little.  They were some kind of good.  Here are a few pictures of our enjoyment.  Hope everyone is having a great day, it has beautiful here for the couple days.  I just love this weather.  Makes me excited for spring to get here, but the old ground hog saw his shadow so they say 6 more weeks of winter.  Let's hope there wrong.  God bless and enjoy the pictures.

Don't they look good

Choie decides to see what's going on.

She ready to try it but wait I'm thinking about this?

GOOD MORNING USA

Good morning to everyone here in blog land, I have been sick with a cold for over a week now.  So I'm finally feeling better and wanted to post and say Hi to all.  Sure hope everyone is staying well better than I did.  I haven't had a cold like this in years.  So my pray is that none of you great people get it.

I have been trying to get back into making dolls and would you believe the first one I try is a round head doll and guess what mine isn't round at all, looks like a pumpkin head.  I'm so comfused about make this thing, I don't know what to do.  If anyone has any suggestions please send them to me.  I would appreciate it.  I won't to make a round head bunny.  So I will keep trying also will show a picture here if I every get it done.

It has been cold and rainy here for 3 or 4 days.  Its really deary and depressing.  I want sunshine please.  I need the bright sun to shine down on me.  I'm sure that's the way alot of people feel especially in the northwest.  Well I sure hope everyone has a great day and remember February is just around the corner, so time is a passing even when we're not having fun or working our heart away.  Take care and God Bless.

I saw this on facebook and had to share this with everyone.

I thought this was exactly what we all need to be doing praying for our country and where its heading if we do not change things in Washington D.C.  Then we will have no one to blame but ourselves for where we go from here.  God is the answer for all our problems, we just need to admit our failures and turn to Him.

GOD BLESS THE USA

Good Morning to everyone in blog land, I sure hope everyone has had a great beginning of a new year.  You know so many people make resolution for the new year and usually they don't last the first month.  If you really want to change your life, trust in the Lord and ask Him to help change your ways from the inside out.  When we work on changing our heart first towards our Lord and Savior and ask Him to search our heart for things that are hurting us. He reveals what things that need to be changed.  You see we are going to our creator who created us, and has a special plan for us.   He has a plan for each one of us because He knew us when we were in our mothers womb.  So search for Him and He will find you and bring you to where He wants you to be and the person He wants you to be.  Trust in the Lord with all your Heart and He will direct your paths.  God Bless and Have a great day.

Letting God Lead

Following God's Lead

Sharon Jaynes

Today's Truth

The LORD says, I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you (Psalm 32:8 NLT).

Friend to Friend
Several years ago, my husband and I decided to take a few ballroom dance classes. I wanted to be the next Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. So we signed up for a six week class. The first thing we learned was the Fox Trot, which is like making little boxes with your feet. I put my right hand on Steve's left shoulder and my left hand into his right and we began to march in little boxes. Slow, slow, quick, quick.

The teacher explained that Steve was the leader and I needed to learn how to follow his cues. But I had trouble with this. After all, I was the better dancer and felt that if he would just let me lead, then the classes would go a lot quicker. But that's not how it works. Steve was the leader, and I had to learn how to follow. For the first few weeks, the teacher kept saying, "Sharon, you're leading again."

Here's the thing. Steve was the leader and I needed to learn how to trust him. Did you catch that? It was really about trusting him. And that's the same way it is with God. When we learn how to trust Him, our walk through life becomes a beautiful dance. God, as the leader, has the hard part. We just have to learn to follow His lead, to trust Him. Then we get to dip and spin and make the fancy moves. He actually makes us look good.J

Steve and I are still no Fred and Ginger, but I have learned how to follow his lead on the dance floor. And when it comes to my dance with God, I'm learning how to follow His lead as well. And let me tell you, He knows all the right moves.

I want you to think about that today. When you give up control and learn how to trust God, He turns your walk through life into a beautiful dance that's He's choreographed just for you.

Let's Pray

Jesus, today I'm trusting You! I'm giving up control and following Your lead. Help me to follow Your cues...Your gentle nudges throughout the day. Thank You for extending Your hand and inviting me onto the dance floor of life! I think I hear the heavenly host playing our song!

In Jesus' Name,

Amen.

Wanted to share this devotion with you this morning for I thought it hit me right at my heart and thought it might help someone else today.  Hope everyone has a great day.  My daughter is coming from Florida today for just a few days visit, I don't care how long it is, but just getting to see them for a few hours is precious to me.  Always remember the precious memories whether big or little, they all make life so wonderful.  And, of course I'm thankful to God for bringing all these wonderful memories my way.  We do need to trust Him completely He is in control and He is a wonderful Heavenly Father who has our best interest at heart.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM MY HOUSE
                     TO YOUR HOUSE

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.  Choie is ready to play Santa for everyone in doggy land.  She's dressed and trying to find the presents to give to all her furry friends.  She and Walter feed the squirrels everyday.  And she helps him put bird food into the feeders.  Well these are things that I do with my doggie and there fun.

But most of all I want everyone to know just sharing the holidays with family and friends is the greatest give we can give each other.  God gave us these friends and most of all let us be born into the family that we either cherish or don't get along with.  God has a purpose for doing these things and sometimes its hard to understand that God knows what He is doing.  He wants to use us in any circumstance of our life.  He wants to reveal Himself to You so that you can love Him, know Him and serve Him with a greatful heart.

Its a wonderful life just knowing that He is God, our Creator, Redeemer and most of all our Friend.  So this holiday remember God loved us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to be born in a Manager so that 33 years later Jesus would lay down His life for us so that we could be reconciled back to God as long as we confessed our sins, believed that He (Jesus) is the Son of God, but most of all that we have faith and trust in that what God tells us in His Word.  God Bless,

Merry Christmas to all.Image Hosting by PictureTrail.com

The Trumpet Game
Gwen Smith

Today's Truth

"The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." (Zephaniah 3:17, NIV)  Friend to Friend
My friend Brad has a little girl named Elizabeth. When Elizabeth was one year old, Brad and his wife taught her some sign language. For the word please, they chose to have her rub her chest. So, as Brad and Jamie taught Elizabeth to say please, they rubbed their own chests and said "please." Simple enough.

Elizabeth had a favorite toy. It's a plastic knobby toy that holds colorful rings. You know the one with the yellow pole and white base that, without the rings, loosely resembles a trumpet. (C'mon, use your imagination!) So, being the fun, creative parents that Brad and Jamie are, they would dump off the rings and playfully hold up Elizabeth's toy and make a trumpet sound. Elizabeth loved her parent's silliness. She laughed and clapped with delight. It became a favorite game in their household.

One day, when Brad and Elizabeth were playing the trumpet game, Elizabeth excitedly grabbed the toy and handed it back to him to do it again. Brad encouraged her to say "please" and reinforced the instruction by rubbing his chest. To his surprise, Elizabeth made her way over to him and started to rub his chest instead of her own.

Did this please her daddy? You bet it did!

Even though Elizabeth mixed up the signals, she communicated with her daddy. Brad was filled with love and joy by her effort. He was pleased that she came to him. Not because she did or didn't do something right, but just because she is his daughter and he loves her. He adores her.

God adores you too. Just because you are His child. His sweet daughter. "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" (1 John 3:1a).

Have you considered that perhaps God isn't longing for you to come to Him with perfect, polished prayers that have fifty-cent words and flowery language? Have you thought about the pleasure God experiences when you simply approach him just as you are, warts and all, because He loves you? He delights in your attention. He takes pleasure when you go to Him simply because you are His.

I love how the psalmist responded to God's love:

Praise the Lord, O my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

Praise the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits-

who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,

who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,

who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

(Psalm 103:1-5)

in the State of the Union Address,
known as  Four Freedoms.

I sure hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We have so much to be thankful for, please take a few minutes and count your blessings one by one and just see what God has done for you this year.   We would be surprise, think about health, children, out of state family members, your house, your church, and just the fact that you know God personally is a big thanks, because that means you realize there is a God and I hope you know about his Son, Jesus.  That is the most thankful gift you can have for yourself, your family and friends knowing Jesus as your personal Savior.   So I pray that you have a very Thankful Day realizing how wonderful life can be.  Have a blessed day.

Hello from Gatehouse Street

Its been a while since I've posted, I'm not going to say I failed  at losing weight, I have had a few problems, I still want to lose but just had to take a breather.  I sure hope anyone that followed my blog about weight, that it helped you,  it did me until I pulled or hurt something in my leg.  I'm at a stand still right now, but I sure hope to get back to my water walking and more determined to lose weight again.  It's hard to fight these urges when you don't feel like moving and doing what you need to do.  So, hang in there and lets hope we will all do a better job, you younger ladies, I would suggest that you start trying to lose weight while your young and you still can move more and better.

I have been watching Bonnie on Biggest Loser and she is doing really a good, I don't think I could have done what she has done.  I'm really impressed with this lady at her age, 63 and she is making a difference for all of us who are older.  I'm looking forward to getting back in the groove soon.
Thanks for keeping up with me and encouraging me to keep going.

You see my great grandaughter, she is a cutey, and smart as a whip.  I sure hope everyone is doing good and I'm  wishing everyone happiness during this time of year.  Talk at you soon.  God Bless.

Missing In Action

I’ve been missing in action, what can I say, I have had a bad month, just a lot of emotional stuff going on. I’m sorry that I let everyone down, but most of all I’m sorry, I let myself down. I’m still trying to lose weight. I’m at 300 lbs. so that is good which means that I have not gained any weight but I haven’t lost any, but guess what I’ll take it.

Okay, what happen, I let emotional stuff get in my way of doing what I wanted to do, lose weight and get healthy. Sometimes our children, husbands or just life itself throws us some punches we just don’t want to face or do. So I just stopped everything. I did go back to water walking 2 weeks ago, but hurt myself because I was trying to do exercise instead of just walking. So that kept me away from the pool. I went yesterday and just walked and felt so much better. Also, went today tried some new stuff but went back to just walking. You see you have to find what works best for you and I’m still doing that but I want to do big thing and right now I just can’t do them with my body in the shape that it is. But try to find out what you can do for you to move and lose.

I will tell you this that we have to work through whatever we’re going through, it doesn’t just happen. God loves us and wants the very best for us. He wants to help us through those down times and He gives us hope that tomorrow will be better. He wants us to just keep searching for Him and He will give you rest and show you the truth of who you are in Jesus. Even though I failed, I still want to encourage you to get moving and losing because you know it’s the right thing to do for yourself. We didn’t get fat over night and we’re not going to lose it overnight, it’s going to take time and patience. So come on and get on the bandwagon and lets start moving and sharing our appearances of how we can do a better job on ourselves to succeed with our weight loss program. God Bless

WEIGH-IN-FRIDAY?????????

Well its weigh in Friday. Sure hope you are keeping track of your weight loss. I have lost 2 lbs this week. Hooray for me, I’m working my program and trying to stay ahead of the game. I sure hope you are doing the same. You know I’m so tired of being fat and limited to do little. I just wish I could wish upon a star and I would have a skinny body, or a smaller body, but guess what? It doesn’t work that way. It takes time, patience and energy to move and lose. We didn’t get this way overnight, like we want to believe we did. We didn’t just wake up one morning and say oh I’m fat, no we didn’t listen to our bodies and we did what we wanted to do and we stuffed our faces and laid around. I do wish I could go back and change things but I can’t, I lost 30 lbs 5 years ago, I gained that plus another 20 back, so that is the way it is, we really need to change our attitude and just not think diet but think of a new way of life is to be more healthy, eat the right food and exercise in which ever way we can.

So come along and join me in move and lose and just see what you can do, get motivated to be more healthy and eat better. Find things you like to do and move. Hope everyone has a great weekend. See you soon. God Bless.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU????????????????

You know that is a serious question. There are so many things that motivate us to do things we should or things we should not do. Who and what is your motivator? I would like to say God motivates me all the time, but I can’t, sometimes I’m just one of these fly by night people who just does what she wants, and it has gotten me in trouble many times. In fact, it did tonight, I have been very careful what I eat, but hubby said something that just really got to me and instead of staying calm and trying to reason or pray about it, I ate dinner, but they were things that I should not have had. I’ve been stewing over what I did about not handling it like I should. I was motivated by my anger, yes I wanted to eat that stuff, and I just needed something to throw me over the edge and it did. So I need to remember Halt.

Several years ago, I rededicated my life to Christ and I feel like Jesus is motivating me more and more but I still slip. We think we know so much and do not need His advice, but we do. Our President and our politician’s need his guidance’s to get us through the problems we have today in our Country... I pray that Jesus is your motivator. If not I pray that you will look for Him to help you and guide you in whatever you are trying to do.

Well I went water walking today. After about one and half hour, the whistle blew and we had to get out of the pool, even though we were inside, we might be hit by thunder and lightning, and of course, I had to ask questions! Why do I have to get out of the pool, we’re inside? but she said the lighting might hit the building. Great, we’re in a building in a pool and we might get hit by lighting. Well, I kind of rebelled and started helping pick up equipment and I was told real nice to get out of the pool. You see what I’m saying about motivation, I wanted to do what I wanted to do not what they were telling me to do. These people are there for my safety, well that is the same as Jesus telling us we should do or not do. He’s looking out for us. He wants to help us through life so we have a more abundant life. Jesus is at the door knocking, want you let Him come in and be your Savior and motivator. Have a blessed day. God Bless
