Going Home to Virginia

Well, I going home today. I hate to leave but time has passed really fast these past two weeks. All of the scenery here in Colorado fascinates my brain and stirs my soul to no end. These mountains where my daughter lives stands in such glorious testimony to our God. If we would just look around our world we could see His glory is everything which He created for our enjoyment. He created all things for us so we could learn from these His creations what an awesome God we have.

If people could just learn to trust Him and realize He is Lord, our world would be such a better place. I just told my daughter yesterday that being here has encouraged me to write more on my blog. Its amazing how things will inspire you to write and put your thinking into words.

My God and my family are the most priceless gifts I have on this side of Heaven. For what we do here on earth will determine were we spend eternity. God is good. I pray that anyone who reads these words will seek Jesus for a new beginning in there life.

Last Day In Colorado

Well, this is my last day here in Colorado. It makes me sad when I realize that when I leave I will not see my family here in Colorado for at least 6 to 8 months. It saddens the heart but I also will gbe glad to be going Home to my husband and friends; I have missed church for 2 weeks and I miss hearing the teaching of my Lord and Savior, and I miss all my christian friends.

So matter where you are, we have memories that are always with us till we meet again. We cherish those memories and long for being where we had those memories. My son died in 1997 and I have the memories of when he was home and the things that we did as a family and the special times he and I spent together. They never leave you.

This was a special trip that I didn't realize I would being coming here to Colorado, but God has a way of lettering us know of all the great things He has in store for us. We just need to be patience and let Him lead us. One of my favorite bible verse which I really stand on is

Proverbs 3:5-7

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him. And He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.

I have experienced the most beautiful scenry here in Colorado that has help me seek a closeness to my Lord. I would like to share some of these beautiful scenes.
