HOT DAYS ARE HERE, PLEASE HURRY AND GET COLD AGAIN

This is the temperature today, boy is it ever hot, hot, hot.  All that complaining that I did about cold winter and rain, rain and more rain, please forgive me Dear Lord.  I would take that kind of weather back in a minute.  It has been so hot and no rain now going on 2 months, but today is the hottest, I'm almost sure we broke a record.  The thermoter is on the back of my window in the kitchen which is in the rear of the house.  The sun was not on it either.  Well, maybe we will get some relief real soon.  Hope you can stay cool.  Inside is where I have been for a week now.  The walls are looking good.  I'm trying to be thankful for this hot weather, our God knows what we need more than I.  So I'm going to praise Him for it and still stay inside.

My grandchildren are here from Colorado and I enjoyed them on Friday.  Will post some pictures later of them.  They sure have grown up.  Well have a good hot evening.  Take care until we meet again.

'Did you see where some baseball player just signed a contract for $50,000 a year just to play ball? It wouldn't surprise me if someday they'll be making more than the President.



'I never thought I'd see the day all our kitchen appliances would be electric. They are even making electric typewriters now.



'It's too bad things are so tough nowadays. I see where a few married women are having to work to make ends meet.



'It won't be long before young couples are going to have to hire someone to watch their kids so they can both work.



'I'm afraid the Volkswagen car is going to open the door to a whole lot of foreign business.



'Thank goodness I won't live to see the day when the Government takes half our income in taxes. I sometimes wonder if we are electing the best people to government.

Corpus Christi




Isn't it peculiar that Muslims rant and rave over objectionable material concerning Mohammed and everyone from government to schools, the press and libraries bend over backwards to satisfy their demands. Yet, when someone blasphemes Christ there is no uproar. Perhaps this is the fault of those who proclaim to be Christian and say nothing.

Going beyond disrespect...






The movie " Corpus Christi " is due to be released this June to August. A


disgusting film set to appear in America later this year depicts Jesus and


his disciples as homosexuals! As a play, this has already been in


theatres for a while. It's called " Corpus Christi " which means "The


Body of Christ". It's revolting mockery of our Lord. But we can make a


difference.


That's why I am sending this posting  so that we can get the word out .  Please 

spread the word about this terrible mockery that is being done about  our Lord and 

Savior.  Send emails, talk about it on facebook, lets do whatever we need to stop this,


we just might be able to prevent this film from showing in


America . Let's stand for what we believe in and stop the mockery of


Jesus Christ our Savior. Where do we stand as Christians? At the risk of


a bit of inconvenience, I'm  posting so that all can see what we need to do to try to prevent such offenses against our Lord.


There is no petition to sign, no time limit, or minimum number of


people to send this to.. It will take you less than 2 minutes! If you


are not interested and do not have the 2 minutes it will take to do this,


please don't complain when God does not have time for


you because He is far busier than we are. Hey, it's worth a shot!


Apparently, some regions in Europe have already banned the film. All we


need is a lot of prayer and a lot of e-mails.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

Just wanted to wish everyone a great July 4th weekend. I know we will all be busy doing something exciting. But I just wanted to remind everyone lets remember what this great holiday is all about. Our Independence from England, the starting of one of the greatest country God ever established. When we think about out  heritage, it should give us chills, because of our founding fathers who were willing to take the risk against the King of England so we could have our liberities that we have today. Like those founding fathers we need to be willing to stand up against the things that are happening today. Our Congressmen and our President do not want to abide by the very Constitution they swore to uphold with there hand on the Bible. So lets remember these things and stand up to the plate for the sake of our Great Country, the United States of America.  I would also like to salute all the men and women who serve our country faithfully thorought the world because if it wasn't for these men and women, we would not be able to defend the great Country of ours.  Also, I want to thank all family memebers who have to make scarfices while there family members are away serving the great call of defending the United States of America.  Here is a big
