A Joyful Day

Well, here is another day. I just came back from Williamsburg, Va. and it is the most scenic drive. I just love it. I have a space in a shop in Williamsburg, called Country Treasures. Its a beautiful shop. The woman that decorates the shop has a gift of decorating which you cannot believe. She makes everything so magical looking and homey. You just want to spend your time in there. If your ever in the Williamsburg area, make sure you go by the Williamsburg Pottery, because the shop is there in the front part of the Pottery on Route 60. You will love it. I will try to take some pictures and post.

I've posted a picture of my space there, hope you enjoy. I will get pictures of the rest of the shop soon. Have a great time in the Lord. Stay safe. And Keep on Blogging.

A New Day

Well, I'm here trying to write something creative so people would like to read about me and what I create. I do many things. I love the world of primitives in wood, paper mache, cloth dolls, vintage prims, you name it and I love the prim world. It is so warm and friendly, it just takes you back to another era in our history. I think we all long for that time in the past when things were more simple, friendlier and people just looked out for one another.

I love creating those primitive signs, and making all of my creations look old looking so thay look like they have been stored in the attic for years. I have this desire to go into old houses and go into the attics and see what old stuff can be found. That to me is treasure hunting.

I'm really new to this blogging but I will catch on. I have lots of things to share just need to develop the ideas. I have 2 daughters and 1 son that was taken home to be with the Lord in
1997 at the age of 30. He had the great laugh that you could hear in a room full of people. I just loved to hear him laugh. I took it for granted and now long to hear that laugh again but he is sharing it with all the angles in heaven. My son had 1 daughter who is now 19 years old. My 2 daughters both have 2 daughters each and one daughter has a set of twins 3 years old. My other daughter has 2 daughters 16 and 18. Big difference but they are 11 years apart in age. Both of my daughters are my best friends. But guess what neither of them like prim and neither really like crafts. So all of my years crafting is not being passed on. Well maybe the grandkids will take a interest.
